Blessings were abundant at the Hearts of Gold 2019. Over $188,000 was raised towards Student Financial Assistance fund. We are still accepting donations that will help us reach our ultimate goal of $200,000.
It was an exciting evening with fellowship, lively bidding and an exquisite vegetarian meal. Auburn Academy students provided impeccable service both at the tables (class of 2019) and plating and prepping the meal (class of 2020 and cafeteria workers). Earlier in the day the freshman and sophomores worked on the outside grounds and had them in tip top shape - it was truly an all-school effort, all our students were involved in some way.
Hearts of Gold 2020
We do hope you will join us next year and be a part of the blessings that flow from generosity and everyone is welcome to be a part of the success. Think about it now on how you could be involved, we start our planning now.
Join us next year on March 8, 2020 as Rainier Auditorium is transformed into an elegant venue to host the 22nd Annual Hearts of Gold Dinner and Auction event. This event is so vital to our students on campus because all the proceeds go towards student financial scholarships. Currently over 85% of our students require some level of financial assistance in order for them to be able to attend Auburn Adventist Academy.
This treasured tradition is an evening filled with lively conversation, three silent auctions, entertainment showcasing our students, fine vegetarian cuisine, and a live auction.
Volunteers are so vital to the success of this event and if you would be willing to be a part of this dynamic event, please contact Hearts of Gold Committee Chairperson, Gina Hubin. We measure our success by the number of students we are able to lend support in their quest for a Christian education and we are committed to the 100-year mission of being dedicated to providing an Christian education to all students who desire it.
